SKAADI received his Bachelors of Fine Arts in Illustration from the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design in Denver, Colorado.
He has been involved in many live performances, art exhibitions, artistic collaborations, published illustrations in newspapers and magazines, and many diverse areas.
He acquired knowledge of the principles of art and design as well as airbrushing techniques and began to develop his artistic style while going to Daytona State College. As a student there, SKAADI wrote and directed a theatrical performance called “Pure Aesthetics.” The show was covered by InMotion Newspaper, the Orlando Sentinel and Chicago Tribune. That year he also opened three solo exhibitions.
After learning the basic techniques and the principles of art and design, SKAADI moved to Denver Colorado to attend Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design for a degree in illustration. Since he began attending RMCAD, SKAADI has done many live Black Brush Air Light performances with a variety of musicians and other artists, as well as in many different bars, venues, concert halls, and festivals throughout Colorado, Florida, and Utah. He is developing an artistic style that he describes as “visionary gesture drawings.” The content is a combination of meta-physics, eastern philosophy and live music; the palette is UV. His work often depicts radiating energies, chakras, and themes of spiritual awakening.
